The Latin American Information Alliance has begun to prepare its participation in the first edition of the 4K AMERICAS. The event is organized by the Spanish producer Medina Media Events.
The director of the Alliance, Juan Carlos Isaza, and the CEO of Medina Media, Ricardo Medina, who already had a first contact last October, held last week a new working meeting in Bogota to prepare the first event on 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) in Latin America.
The 4K AMERICAS will be the Latin American regional version of the 4K Summit, the main international event on Ultra High Definition (UHD), which is held annually in Malaga (Spain) in November and brings together the top engineers and main content producers of this new technology worldwide. – View 4KSUMMIT Video –
The main goal of the Alliance’s participation in the 4K AMERICAS is that the journalists, engineers and producers of each of its 22 associated stations have the opportunity to share knowledge in a first level event with the main experts at a global and regional level.
In addition, 4K AMERICAS attendees will be able to personally share with experts and speakers during cocktails, breakfasts and networking coffees that are part of the event’s agenda.
Alliance broadcasters that have already begun producing in 4K will also have the opportunity to showcase productions and advances in the 4K AMERICAS Demo Area during the two-day event.
